- Confirm appointment date and time with the client.
- Gather necessary cleaning supplies and equipment (trash bags, boxes, cleaning agents, gloves, masks, etc.).
- Conduct a walkthrough of the property to assess the scope of work and note any specific requests from the client.
During Service
- Begin cleanout by removing large items first (furniture, appliances, etc.).
- Sort items into categories: Keep, Donate, Recycle, and Trash.
- Thoroughly clean each room after items have been removed, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
Post-Service Verification
- Walk through the property with the client to ensure satisfaction with the cleanout.
- Confirm that all items have been properly sorted and disposed of according to the client’s wishes.
- Provide a detailed report of the service, including before and after photos if applicable.
Local Requirements
- Ensure compliance with local waste disposal regulations.
- Verify any necessary permits for bulk item removal.
- Check local recycling guidelines for proper disposal of specific materials (e.g., electronics, hazardous waste).
