Pre-Service Preparation

• Gather all cleaning supplies (all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, scrub brushes, sponges, mop, vacuum, etc.)
• Remove personal belongings and any items not included in the lease agreement.
• Schedule a time for the cleaning service that allows for enough time to complete the job.

During Service

• Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including shelves, baseboards, and light fixtures.
• Clean all windows and mirrors to remove smudges and streaks.
• Deep clean kitchen appliances (oven, refrigerator, microwave) inside and out.

Post-Service Verification

• Inspect all rooms to ensure that all surfaces have been cleaned thoroughly.
• Check for any missed spots or areas needing touch-ups (baseboards, corners, etc.).
• Confirm that all cleaning supplies and equipment have been put away and the property is left in a tidy condition.

Local Requirements

• Ensure disposal of any hazardous materials (e.g., old paint, chemicals) is in accordance with local regulations.
• Check if a final inspection by the landlord or property management is required after cleaning.
• Familiarize yourself with the local waste disposal guidelines for any items that need to be thrown away.
