Pre-Service Preparation

During Service

• Begin the cleanup process by sorting items into categories: keep, donate, recycle, and dispose.
• Ensure safety protocols are in place, such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Document the process with photographs and notes for future reference and accountability.

Post-Service Verification

• Conduct a walkthrough of the property to ensure all areas have been addressed.
• Review the items kept and disposed of with the client to ensure satisfaction and understanding.
• Provide resources and recommendations for ongoing support, including mental health services and organizing help.
