Pre-Service Preparation

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the space and identify areas of concern.
• Gather necessary supplies (gloves, masks, garbage bags, cleaning supplies).
• Create a safety plan, including emergency contacts and first-aid supplies.

During Service

• Sort items into categories (keep, donate, discard).
• Safely remove hazardous materials (chemicals, expired food, etc.).
• Clean and disinfect surfaces as items are cleared away.

Post-Service Verification

• Perform a final walkthrough to ensure all areas are cleared and cleaned.
• Document the state of the space with before-and-after photos.
• Provide the client with a list of resources for ongoing support and organizing.

Local Requirements

• Check local regulations regarding the disposal of hazardous waste.
• Obtain any necessary permits for large-scale cleanup operations.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety codes.
