Pre-Service Preparation

During Service

• Clear out all items from the garage and sort them into categories: keep, donate, recycle, and trash.
• Clean the garage space: sweep the floor, dust surfaces, and wipe down shelves and storage units.
• Organize the remaining items back into the garage in a systematic way, utilizing storage solutions as needed (shelves, bins, hooks).

Post-Service Verification

• Ensure that all items designated for donation or recycling are properly packed and ready for removal.
• Inspect the garage for cleanliness and organization, making adjustments as necessary.
• Take before-and-after photos to document the cleanout for future reference or for sharing with others.

• Check if there are any local regulations regarding the disposal of hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, etc.).
• Verify collection schedules for bulk trash or recycling in your area.
• Research local charities or organizations that accept donations from garage cleanouts.
